I enrolled in a German integration course to learn, gain new knowledge, and, of course, improve my German. But on the very first day, nothing went according to plan. The moment I saw her, I realized that the language was no longer my main reason for coming to class. Instead, I looked for every opportunity just to see her, eagerly waiting for her workday to end so I could finally gather the courage to ask her out for coffee.

At the time, I was working at the WBS training center, completely unaware that one of the new students would one day become the most important person in my life. He showed up to the German integration course a bit lost, but with a smile that was impossible to ignore. At first, he simply caught my eye, but before I knew it, I found myself looking forward to his arrival every single day. Soon enough, his classes became my favorite part of the workday.
